At Bridget Reade, we strive to provide high-quality swimsuits that meet your expectations. However, we understand that sometimes an item may not be the perfect fit or meet your needs. Our Return & Exchanges Policy is designed to make your shopping experience smooth and hassle-free. Please read the following guidelines carefully before initiating a return or exchange.


1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached.
  • Hygiene Protection: Swimsuits must have the original hygiene liner intact. Returns will not be accepted if the liner has been removed.
  • Timeframe: Returns and exchanges must be requested within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or receipt is required.

Items that do not meet these criteria will not be eligible for return or exchange.


2. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Swimwear that has been worn, washed, or altered.
  • Items without the original tags and hygiene liner.
  • Final Sale Items: Products marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance” are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
  • Gift Cards: Non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To begin the return or exchange process, follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Us

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Return Request – Your Order Number” or “Exchange Request – Your Order Number”. Include the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return or exchange
  • Reason for return or exchange
  • Photos (if applicable)

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Once your request is reviewed, we will send you a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and return instructions. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Step 3: Ship the Item

  • Pack the item securely in the original packaging or a protective package.
  • Clearly write the RA# on the package.
  • Use a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

Step 4: Receive Your Refund or Exchange

  • Refunds: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
  • Exchanges: If you requested an exchange, we will ship the new item once the return is processed. Exchange requests are subject to product availability.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • For defective or incorrect items: We will cover the return shipping costs.
  • For size exchanges or change-of-mind returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We do not provide prepaid return labels.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective swimsuit, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. Email us at [email protected] with clear photos of the defect, and we will provide a replacement or refund at no additional cost.


6. Refund Processing Time

Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect your return. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account.


7. International Returns

For international orders, return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees are the customer’s responsibility. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for international returns. Bridget Reade is not responsible for lost international returns.
